DAY 1 | JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA
Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will be met by a Uniq Africa representative and your full-time local tour guide who will guide you to your coach and transfer to Pretoria.
En route to your hotel you will enjoy a guided tour of Pretoria that will include a visit to the Union Buildings and gardens. This is great photo opportunity with the towering bronze statue of Nelson Mandela.
Upon arrival check into your accommodation and enjoy dinner at leisure at one of the many restaurants close to your hotel.
DAY 2 | PRETORIA – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Breakfast
An early departure from Pretoria as we travel east towards the Mpumalanga Province, passing through the open grasslands and agricultural areas of the “Highveld”. Our journey continues via the scenic Schoemanskloof Pass into sub-tropical citrus farming and forestry areas. We then visit the many attractions along the “Panorama Route”, including God’s Window, the Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the viewpoint over the Blyde River Canyon at the Three Rondavels. The Panorama Route along the Blyde River Canyon in Mpumalanga is arguably one of the most beautiful and popular travel destinations in South Africa. In the afternoon we descend the eastern escarpment and travel through the warm “Lowveld” to your beautiful Hotel overlooking the Sabie river, located just a short distance from the nearest entrance gate to the Kruger National Park.

DAY 3 | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Full day open safari vehicle Game Drive in Kruger National Park
Your safari begins at sunrise and will be the start of your game spotting adventure. Upon arriving at the entry gate your friendly guide will begin each safari with an all-inclusive briefing on how to behave when entering the Kruger National Park. Together, with your guide, you will set out into the wild to spot the abundance of fauna and flora that the African Bush has to offer. Don’t be shy to ask questions as your qualified guide will do their best to give you the ideal game spotting experience and information. The excitement of spending your morning searching to find predators and the big five could leave one with a bit of an empty stomach, making it a good time to stop for you to enjoy breakfast at one of the rest camps.
In the afternoon return to your hotel relaxing after an action-packed day in Kruger Park.

DAY 4 | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
We depart on our own private touring vehicle before dawn and travel the short distance to the entrance gate to the Kruger National Park. Once inside the Park, excitement will mount as we start seeing some of the numerous animals that inhabit this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Breakfast packs will be provided, which we will enjoy at a picnic spot inside the Kruger Park. We will spend most of the day travelling inside the Kruger Park before returning to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

DAY 5 | KRUGER NATIONAL PARK – KNYSNA

Travel back to Johannesburg, via the scenic Abel Erasmus Pass and through the interesting country towns of Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Belfast.
Later this afternoon you will arrive at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, in time for your domestic flight to the heart of the famous garden route, George (*flight not included).
You will be welcomed upon your arrival at George Airport and transferred to your hotel in the beautiful town of Knysna, ideally located at the Knysna Waterfront.

DAY 6 | KNYSNA

Today you will embark on the premier eco-experience on the Garden Route visiting the Featherbed Nature Reserve located on the Western Head of the Knysna Estuary.
Tour includes:
• Return ferry cruise on the Knysna lagoon to the western head.
• 4×4 Unimog & trailer drive up the headland to the summit, stopping at spectacular viewpoints.
• Certified Nature Guide offering commentary on Knysna’s and Featherbed Nature Reserve’s history, fauna & flora.
• Optional guided 2.2km walk through coastal forest and fynbos, exploring ancient sea caves.

DAY 7 | KNYSNA – OUTSHOORN

Check out and depart Knysna to the ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn.
The day starts with a visit to an ostrich farm where, through interesting talks and demonstrations by experts, you will get to know more about these fascinating birds by having an ostrich tour. The traditional Ostrich Tour is not only enlightening but also fun for the whole family. Learn all about ostriches, feed one by hand, and watch as staff expertly demonstrate the various crafts using ostrich’s feathers, eggs, and leather.
Enjoy a 3-course lunch at the Ostrich Farm where you will sample some ostrich meat.
Thereafter head over to the spectacular Cango Caves, Africa’s largest show cave system. Here you will have a Heritage Tour of the Cango Caves. This tour is an easy walk through the first six largest and most spectacular halls, continuing through to the African Drum Room with a few stairways.
DAY 8 | OUTSHOORN – HERMANUS

Today you will transfer to the whale-watching town of South Africa, Hermanus.

DAY 9 | HERMANUS – FRANSCHOEK – STELLENBOSCH

Experience an up-close personal encounter with the “gentle giants” of the ocean that promises to be an experience to be treasured.
Transfer to the culinary capital of South Africa, Franschhoek where you will enjoy lunch. Transfer to the town of Stellenbosch where you will stay for the following 2 nights. En route we will stop at one of the many beautiful wineries for a wine tasting.
DAY 10 | STELLENBOSCH

Today you will embark on a full day tour of the magnificent Cape Winelands. The picturesque towns of Paarl and Stellenbosch, in the heart of South Africa’s wine producing areas, will be visited today. Apart from magnificent scenery, these towns have much to offer and one thing that may not be missed is a visit to a few of the many wine estates, where some of South Africa’s best wines can be sampled and purchased.
Lunch will be included on today’s tour of the winelands.
DAY 11 | STELLENBOSH – CAPE TOWN
Enjoy breakfast at leisure.
Transfer to Cape Town, on arrivalin the mother city you will have a guided walking city tour of Cape Town visiting the vibrant Bo-Kaap, Greenmarket Square (where slaves were once sold), City Hall (where Nelson Mandela made his first speech as a free man) and the Company’s Garden.
Afterwards head out to Table Mountain, where you will use the cable car to get to the top of the mountain to have fantastic 360-degree panoramic views of the city, ocean and the Table Mountain National Park.
Transfer to your hotel to check in before leaving for the V&A Waterfront for dinner.
DAY 12 | CAPE TOWN

You will enjoy a full day Cape Peninsula Tour where you will visit the iconic spots around Cape Town, including:
• Hout Bay
• Scenic Chapman’s Peak drive
• Cape Point Nature Reserve including the Flying Dutchman Funicular ride.
• Boulders Beach to see the African Penguins
• Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Make your way back to the hotel to freshen up before your African cultural experience and dinner at Gold Restaurant.
DAY 13 | CAPE TOWN
Enjoy breakfast at leisure.
Make your way to the beautiful V&A Waterfront where you will have some leisure time to do some last-minute shopping.
