DAY 1 | MEET-AND-GREET
Rendezvous place is at Audi Camp in Maun, Botswana. Stoftrappers host a braai with Mari’s known “potbrood”.
DAY 2 | (130 KM) AUDI CAMP TO KHWAI CAMP (TSHAA CAMP)We leave at 8:00 for beautiful Khwai.
DAY 3 | KHWAI
Game drives in our own vehicles through Khwai area. Be sure to see a lot of Elephant and game!
DAY 4 | (138 km) KHWAI CAMP TO WILD CAMP
We leave early morning to our wild camp. We drive sporadically though thick sand and is on the lookout for Hyena, Wild dogs (painted dogs), Giraffe and Elephants.
DAY 5 | (78 km) WILD CAMP 1 TO SERONGA
We leave for Seronga after breakfast. Much easier travel then yesterday. We arrive early enough at Seronga were Makorro’s waits for those who would like to explore the Okovango Delta.
DAY 6 & 7 | (124 km) SERONGA TO DROTSKY’S CABIN
We cross the Okovango Delta to Shakawe on a ferry. We can stock up with fuel and basic provisions.
We arrive early afternoon at Drotsky’s. For those who haven’t experienced a boat ride on the Okovango Delta, this is your chance! Paradise for photographers. Swimming pool available were you can relax.
For the angler, there is fishing tackle to rent. You can book a angling boat for the best Tigerfish angling in the Okovango Delta.
DAY 8 | (70 km) DROTSKY CAMP TO TSODILO HILLS
Tsodilo Hills guides will take you on a tour to see Bushman paintings. For those that want to stay behind at camp, be sure to take beautiful pictures of Tsodilo Hills late afternoon.
DAY 9 & 10 | (286 km) TSODILO HILLS TO GIDICHAA CAMP
Gidichaa’s owner will take us on game drives where we can see Elephant and small game drinking water at the waterhole.
DAY 11 | (153 km) GIDICHAA CAMP TO GCWIHABA CAVES
We arrive early enough to visit the caves. This caves with its Bushman paintings were discovered by Martiens Drotsky in 1930 and is also known as Drotsky’s caves.
DAY 12 | (103 km) GCWIHABA CAVES TO WILD CAMP 2
It is a scenic route from the caves to our last wild camp.
DAY 13 | (195 km) WILD CAMP 2 TO AUDI CAMP
We travel on tar road to Sehitwa were we fill up with fuel. Our last evening together at Audi Camp.
